A sweet sourdough loaf that's delicious eaten as a sweet bread buttered, toasted and also fabulous with cheese - especially blue cheese!
At its very best toasted, as with all sourdough.
This loaf is made from our sourdough flour blend and starter with walnuts & figs added to the dough before its last ferment. It's still a true sourdough it's just got these delicious extra ingredients for added flavour. The wild yeasts still do the hard work instead of bakers' yeast and a long ferment gives the bread its unique texture & sourdough taste. The natural sweetness of the fig and the walnuts really compliment this.
Ingredients: sorghum flour, buckwheat flour, millet flour, maize flour, potato flour, teff flour, quinoa flour, rice flour, psyllium husk, flaxseed, salt, walnuts, figs, walnut oil, star anise, milk.
