All orders placed up until midday on Monday 8th June deadline will be baked on Wednesday 10th June ready for collection that day or should be delivered by Parcelforce on Thursday 11th June via overnight delivery. A few deliveries are taking up to 48 hours to arrive due to Covid. This should not affect the bread as it stays fresh for 4 to 5 days from being baked. However, if are not comfortable waiting 48 hours for your delivery please do not order until overnight delivery is back on track. If you would like to join our mailing list we will let you know when this is the case.

The Battle Over Bread

I found this article from Prospect Magazine via The Real Bread Campaign and it is very interesting.

No prizes for guessing who I agree with!

Whether you are coeliac/ gluten free or can eat “normal” bread do have a read if you have a few minutes to spare.

I am a supporter & a member of The Real Bread Campaign. Gluten free bread bakers are very welcome to be members as long as they fit the criteria:

Just flour, salt & water.

Any other ingredients such as seeds, nuts, dairy can be added as long as they are completely natural too.

No chemicals, gums, not even baking powder are allowed.

I’m very proud to say my loaves fit the criteria.
