Bake Schedule 🍞

We bake to order — every loaf is made specifically for you. That means our process runs a week ahead of itself. Here's exactly what happens between placing your order and bread landing on your doorstep.

How it works:

Currently ordering for bake week commencing Monday 23 March 2026 All orders placed now will be baked Mon 23 March – Thu 26 March and delivered Tue 24 March – Fri 27 March.

Step 1 — Ordering

The bakery restocks every Monday

Our shop opens at 00:00 every Monday and stays open until Sunday at midnight. Every order is a pre-order for the following week's bake — not the current one. This is how we ensure every loaf is freshly made for you, with nothing sitting in storage.

Step 2 — Scheduling

Your order is assigned a bake day

Once your order comes in, we schedule it across our bake week (Monday–Thursday), filling each day's capacity as orders arrive. All orders placed this week are guaranteed to be baked during our next bake week commencing 23 March.

Step 3 — Baking

Your bread is baked fresh to order

We bake Monday to Thursday. Each loaf is made from scratch on your assigned bake day — no pre-baked stock, no frozen inventory. Sourdoughs are long-fermented and baked fresh the following morning. Once out of the oven, loaves are cooled, packed, and collected by DPD.

Step 4 — Dispatch

Packed and shipped same day

Your order is dispatched via DPD Next Day Delivery on your bake day. You'll receive a DPD tracking notification once your parcel is on its way.

Step 5 — Delivery

Arrives the morning after it's baked

⚠ Delivery is the day after your bread is baked — not the day after you placed your order.

DPD delivers Monday–Saturday. If your bread is baked on a Thursday, it arrives on Friday.

Step 6 — At home

Eat fresh or freeze immediately

Our bread is at its best on the day it arrives. If you're not eating it straight away, freeze it immediately. Slice before freezing so you can pull out individual pieces as needed.

To defrost: leave slices at room temperature for 30–60 minutes, or toast straight from frozen. Do not leave gluten-free bread at room temperature for more than a day — it contains no preservatives.
