    This loaf is exactly the same as our sourdough and is made from just flour, salt, water and seeds. Wild yeasts and a long fermentation gives the bread is unique texture & incredible taste. We use our unique gluten free sourdough starter and flour blend. The big difference is that it is twice the weight and the size of a 'normal' loaf. This loaf has a tangy sour taste and a nice open texture. You may find sourdough mildly addictive and then just like me - one piece of this toast is never enough!

Finally found some decent Gluten Free Bread

How refreshing to find really tasty gluten free sourdough. The bread is really tasty, slices perfectly, delicious toasted with butter and freezes really well too. Can highly recommend and will be ordering more very soon.

Good enough but small

I was surprised at the size of them compared to what I used to buy from my local bakery that does very good but wheat sourdough bread. I am pregnant so decided to be strict with my gluten consumption just in case as I have gluten related symptoms but not diagnosed with anything in particular. The bread is very dense and has a particular taste to it that I tried to musk by putting all sorts of toppings but could still taste. It is definitely better than the supermarket bread which is full of additives but unfortunately gluten free just can’t compare to the real deal. I purchased the small darker float and the “large” light loaf. I was very impressed with the plastic free compostable packaging of the bread! Overall it’s okay I can’t say I loved it but helped during the hardcore bread cravings of first trimester although I had to wait a week after ordering so had to succumb to supermarket gluten free crumpets during my wait for the delivery of the bread.

Flavour and substance

This loaf has the proper sourdough flavour. It's chewy, satisfying, feels healthy to eat and good on my tummy. I slice, freeze and toast as needed.
Those used to supermarket GF bread may find it a bit dense, but that's how proper bread is. Supermarket bread is now considered a highly processed food, and now that I'm eating real bread, I just can't go back to it. I've experimented at home making my own GF sourdough, but found it tricky and couldn't bake anything as tasty as this. Well done Knife and Fork for creating a beautiful, authentic and enjoyable loaf.
