An Art Deco five-star hotel on Balderton Street, known for its striking Antony Gormley sculpture built into the building and its restaurant, Rosi. A properly grand spot to sit down to gluten free bread.
Hélène Darroze at The Connaught, Mayfair

The three-Michelin-star restaurant inside The Connaught, led by the celebrated French chef Hélène Darroze, who won her third star in 2021. About as fine as fine dining gets, and gluten free doesn't mean an asterisk on the menu.

Venus Café, Bigbury-on-Sea, Broadsands & Teignmouth, Devon
The Venus Company has run a small group of Devon beach cafés since 1958, cooking from central kitchens and serving gluten free and vegan options across its sites, with compostable packaging as standard. Three of them, all on the coast, all worth the sandy walk.

A note on coeliac safety
Our bread itself is 100% dedicated gluten free. It is baked in a bakery in Oxfordshire that never handles wheat, so nothing containing gluten has ever touched it before it leaves our door. But the cafés, restaurants and hotels on this list are not dedicated gluten free kitchens. Most of them also cook with wheat every day, and once our bread arrives on site, how it is stored, toasted, sliced and plated is down to their kitchen, not ours.
If you are coeliac, please always tell the venue when you order and ask how your food will be prepared. Every place on this list is proud to serve proper gluten free bread, but only you and they, on the day, can judge what's safe for you.
