Gluten free loaves from The Bakery by Knife & Fork on shop shelves

You can buy our gluten free bread and focaccia at some proper destination food shops, from Selfridges' Foodhall on Oxford Street to independent farm shops and health food stores the length of the country. Here's where to find it, grouped by region, with the two big prestige names first.

Everything below stocks bread from The Bakery by Knife & Fork, a 100% dedicated gluten free bakery in Oxfordshire. Our rosemary focaccia holds a Great Taste Award, we're rated 4.79 stars from over 1,400 reviews, and everything is baked fresh weekly, so stock at any one shop does sell out from time to time, especially at weekends. If a stockist below happens to be sold out when you visit, it's almost always restocked within a few days, and you can always order direct from us in the meantime. You can see every stockist, shops and cafés both, on our interactive stockists map, which is kept up to date as new shops come on board.

Daylesford Organic was founded in 1975 by Carole Bamford on her family's Cotswolds farm and has grown into one of the country's best-known organic farm shop groups, with its own creamery, market garden and bakery on site. It's the kind of place that turned "farm shop" into a destination day out long before that was fashionable. You'll find our bread at the Cotswolds flagship in Kingham, and at all three London branches: Notting Hill, Brompton Cross and Pimlico.

A note on coeliac safety

Our bread itself is 100% dedicated gluten free. It's baked in a bakery in Oxfordshire that never handles wheat, so nothing containing gluten touches it before it leaves our door. Once it's on a shop shelf, though, it's usually sitting alongside other bread and gluten-containing products, and how each shop stores, slices and handles it is down to them, not us.

If you're coeliac, do check with staff in-store if you're ever unsure, particularly around anything sliced or served loose rather than in its original packaging, or displayed near an in-store bakery counter that also handles wheat. Every shop on this list is genuinely proud to stock proper gluten free bread, and we're proud they do.

Not near any of these?

We deliver our full range UK-wide, baked fresh every week. Our Gluten Free Taster Bundle is a good way to try us first (pair it with a loaf or granola to clear free delivery, since the Taster Bundle alone doesn't hit the threshold). Or set up a regular order on our Build A Box page and never run out.

Run a shop, deli or farm shop and think your customers would love it too? See how wholesale works, or use the "Nominate your local shop" box on our stockists page to point us towards your favourite.

Frequently asked questions

Where can I buy gluten free bread near me?

Our interactive stockists map shows every shop, deli and farm shop that stocks us, filterable so you can see just shops rather than cafés and restaurants.

Is the bread sold in these shops dedicated gluten free?

The bread itself is, baked in our own 100% dedicated gluten free bakery in Oxfordshire. The shops that stock it are not dedicated gluten free retailers though, so if you're coeliac, it's worth checking with staff if you're ever unsure how it's been stored or handled in-store.

What if there's no stockist near me?

We deliver our full range across the UK every week. Try a Taster Bundle to start, or set up a regular order on our Build A Box page.
