The best I’ve found so far is. As a celiac I’ve missed real bread. I popped the starter loaves into the freezer on delivery then baked in the oven when needed and wow amazing to smell bread again in the house.
This loaf is full of flavour and delicious toasted. I love it with mashed avocado and a poached egg on top. It’s just as tasty with marmalade or jam.
I’m newly diagnosed as gluten intolerant and was struggling to find any nice bread at all until I found your bakery. This focaccia was the best I have ever tasted and that includes all the ones I’ve eaten in Italy that had gluten in them! What a treat 😋
We have tested a lot of gluten free breads and this is olive one is definitely one of our favourites. Holds together well. Firm texture and nice toasted but flavour is the star. Love that they are non UPF
This is definitely a company that delivers what they promise. Their products are very fresh, and made with very high-quality ingredients. The variety of items on offer is also impressive. The bread does not last long unless frozen, which shows it is definitely preservative-free. Not all were to my taste, but that is personal preference. The customer service is also excellent! You can tell the company care about their customers. I would highly recommend this independent outfit to all!
I did like the focaccia - soft and moistly moorish. It toasted well too. The fruity round loaf was ok; the other loaves sadly rather disappointing - and went mouldy v quickly.
The starter pack is such a wonderful way to be introduced to the different breads available. We loved them all.
The focaccia is now our weekly order.
The apricot and pumpkin seed loaf is tasty and different. You can eat it with savoury or sweet spreads. I have enjoyed it with honey, jam and nut butters. I'm sure it will go well with cheese. Excellent.
Very tasty
Have only tried 2 types from the starter pack so far (Cinnamon & Date, and Buckwheat and Poppy Seed), but as The Bakery has emailed me asking for a review, I will say that what I have tried is lovely bread, and as advertised, has a great texture for the type of product it is. I would have given 5 stars if there was an everyday loaf with organic ingredients.
Good taste. Sliced and good size for toast and sandwiches. Love it.
Thought we'd give the starter pack breads a try, after many years of buying our gluten free bread from supermarkets and we're so glad we did. Deliver was swift and easy and each loaf was fresh, extremely tasty, and easy to slice (no breaking or crumbling, hurrah!). We will definitely buy again.
Love it and love the fact it’s so good for you too and lower in carbs than most. Can’t rate it high enough x
I love the Quinoa & Millet Light Sandwich Loaf. I have tried gluten free breads from different bakeries in the past but this is by far the best and would highly recommend. Excellent customer service too.
Really tasty and filling. Loaves slice easily for freezing and taste great from th efreezer.
I just loved the Rosemary Foccacia, it is delicious and filling. Lovely texture when fresh, after a few day I warmed some in the toaster and it was fab. Looking forward to trying the Olive Foccacia next 😋
Have only just become a customer, so there are still a number of breads that I have yet to try, however I started with the focaccia which everyone really loved and couldn't believe was gluten free, absolutely perfect. Then the sourdough, which at first I thought was a bit strong, but by the end of the loaf I loved and will definitely be buying more. I am now trying the poppy seed and quinoa. Just as importantly is the fact that you know you are not eating a load of chemicals and rubbish !!!!
A great loaf. Amazing to find such great gluten free sourdough. For me it's best toasted. Filling and yummy.

I'm so happy I was recommended The Knife & Fork bakery by a friend. She was right it is the best gluten free bread. I really like the taste, quality and variety on offer and the taster pack is a great way to find which you like the most.
First time , I ordered from this website ( taster pack + one extra focaccia ) for my husband who struggles to find nice bread since his celiac diagnosis
i was worried after reading some of the negative reviews … surprisingly the bread came as planned with great customer service as I emailed them to check the delivery and they replied with details !
the bread yes very heavy & dense but freshly baked with care & love
As the pack comes with 6 different flavours , he is treating himself with different ideas ( with hummus , cheese , sandwich etc ) will definitely order more
